you still need something to produce that electricty and i'm gonna go out on a limb and say solar panels won't cut it. fuel will be required.

Space exploration for now is impractical and probably will be for many years (I wouldn't say our lifetime, I think we'll hit another tech revolution soon). It makes far more sense to send unmanned robots and probes right now as the cost of exiting the atmosphere is still just too high.


i don't see how this is in opposition to what i said.
