Bigger than Heartbleed

We have a server that works flawlessly with the old Linux distro its running and as long as everything is working and we don't need to upgrade, we probably won't. I saw countless posts about old Linux installs and people having HUNDREDS of installs of Fedora 12-16 out there and not being able to update their systems for various (and usually unlisted) reasons. Much easier to just update/patch bash and go back to BAU. Updating old distros is a major pain the ass. I have no desire to spend more and more hours updating to a distro we don't need anything from and having to configure everything from scratch. I'll do it if we need/have to but anything short of that, I'll fix whatever problems come up as they arise
