Apple has the Apple Watch Edition which ranges from $10k to $15k. People have now found that you can buy the Apple Watch in the steel version for $700 then spend $400 to have it gold plated. They look nice! Maybe it will be my Christmas present.

Yea...gold only works on legit high dollar accessories...and even then not often. This thing is just throw away consumer electronics. Tacky is the best word for it. Like a diamond encrusted collar for a lapdog.
