Accordingly, it must and dare not be considered a trifling matter but a most serious one to seek counsel against this and to save our souls from the Jews, that is, from the devil and from eternal death. My advice, as I said earlier, is:

First, that their synagogues be burned down, and that all who are able toss in sulphur and pitch; it would be good if someone could also throw in some hellfire. That would demonstrate to God our serious resolve and be evidence to all the world that it was in ignorance that we tolerated such houses, in which the Jews have reviled God, our dear Creator and Father, and his Son most shamefully up till now but that we have now given them their due reward.

yeah and the Baptists used to be cool....I was speaking of the modern incarnations of those faiths.

Sounds like you have bad experience with the Baptisits.....please tell more if you want.......
God and Jesus is not only the Creator, also the highest authority, most powerful & advance deity in the enite universe. Much more powerful than any other advance aliens.
Good alien/Angel would acknowledge Jesus is the Lord and Savior and came in flesh

in America anyways, the church was one of the more solid bricks in the foundation of civil society....

To bad that influence seems to be fading, like our country.

Rural communities still have a strong, even growing, church-based civil society. At least here. Perhaps you guys should flee atheistic cities if you want that type of leadership in your community.

You are not sure what you are hearing but is the best??? What do you mean?

I, too, attend a Baptist church. It is a surprised to me that I would one day end up with them. The Baptists are passionate when they worship. i am still non-denominational, but I love attend Baptist church. How do you end up in a Baptist church in the North?

But religion gives us moral basis, teaches us to love our family and how to be happy with simple things we have. I don't like the direction America is going right now. We crave for more and more entertainment, our lives go way too fast, we forget about those things that can bring us real happiness. I think that Christianity is the answer for all people who are depressed or lost their way.

America doesn't need to be more religious, but need more of Jesus Christ.
I agree most of your points, Christianity is the answer, not only it gives us moral basis, it also tell us that God Love Us and want to have a personal, intimacy relationship with everyone of us. Jesus will come back soon and save us!!!

Why is Christianity the answer and not Hinduism for example? From my observations Hindu's are more peaceful and commit less crime. They also seem just as happy as any Christian.

All revealed religions are entirely man-made. If you come from a good home, preferably with two parents that are educated, and they raise you well, you don't need religion. However many people don't have such an ideal situation and religion does help.
