i believe in a sort of north american native type, a great spirit, if you will: the forces of nature. but i reject any sort of mysticism. it's simply nature. respect it and recognise it.

I believe in a God who started turning human at the time of Jesus and searches for the best of the species to embody itself, in a very bitsy sort of way so far. Clearly those who label themselves atheists are very hung up on fundamentalism - we need to develop our ideas, not merely contradict aimlessly. We are still animals, and the chances are 9 - 1 that we will destroy ourselves as a species (as I imagine most already have) at the capitalist stage, but we should keep trying.

God spelled backwards is Dog.
This is hardly a coincidence at all.
For a dog most perfectly embodies the most primal aspects of self.
And God most perfectly embodies the ABSENCE of primal aspects of self.

none. in the words of Freud, I find belief in a god or gods to be hopelessly infantile.
