Posted: Tue May 26, 2015 3:03 pmMore to stress the point - God nor any other diety is going to save you. You can't just sit around hoping for divine intervention. Not in every day life, not in life/death situations. You need to do things for yourself, not to try and impress some diety.

And I figured that Christians were just going through the motions when it came to attributing success of whatever - after all I thought the Bible was pretty clear that God is backing off the whole divine intervention thing, at least until he annihilates the planet and sends everyone to hell.
