Altruism is not a moral evil. It is the foundation of civilization. As much as rich, white Americans like to think they are getting ripped off by the gubmint, the simple truth is that without people actually forcing you to fund things, you wouldn't be in the position you are today. You would be flinging shit at your enemies and living in a hut.

Altruism, well the govt don't practice that very well. Otherwise it wouldn't be giving itself pay raises, or living lavishly at the expense of the pesants, would it.
